...Baby #2 is on the way!
We are excited to announce that we are expecting another babe coming this October! Andrew is so excited to be a BIG BROTHER. It's still pretty confusing to him, but he is absolutely sure that the baby is a "gurl". And whenever we ask him what we should name our baby he first wanted to name {her} Toy Story, and now has changed the name to Princess. {He is going to be pretty confused if it ends up being a boy!} We can't wait to be a family of FOUR!
Due: October 1, 2013
Disneyland 2013
In January we took Andrew to Disneyland for the very first time. It was the perfect time to go. It wasn't hot at all, nor was it one bit busy. I think they longest we ever waited to get onto a ride may have been 10 minutes. It got a tad bit chilly at night, but other than that it was perfect. We want to go back so bad!
Prepping for the car ride. Testing out his new headphones. That ipad was our lifesaver while driving to Cali!!! Andrew was so pleasant in the car.
A Bugs Life with Em!
Andrews hero
In awe at Rainforest Cafe
We were told by a few friends to eat at the Blue Bayou. Its the restaurant that is inside of the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. I would definitely recommend it!
Driving uncle David crazy!
Andrew told Steven and I that he wanted to go back to Disneyland when he turned 3. (Twist my arm!)
Ho Ho Ho!
A couple of weeks before Christmas my side of the family went down to Salt Lake City for a few days. We stayed at our favorite place, Little America, and had a few fun days of Christmas shopping, swimming, and Christmas concerts. We had so much fun! We decided that we are going to make it a yearly tradition. The kids had a blast running around the hotel together, and staying up late playing in each others hotel rooms.
Nothing prettier.
Getting excited to go swimming after dinner
We met Santa at City Creek!
It was super fun...if you can't tell! ;)
Christmas Eve
My cute husband shoveling my grandmas porch on Christmas Eve
{He knew Santa was almost here... and was still working his way off the naughty list}
Andrew insisted that we leave water for the reindeer, because they'd be really "firsty". And of course, cookies and milk for Santa
He was realllly
...tired.
Going for a ride in his spaceship!
Over the Christmas season, I think we probably watched How the Grinch Stole Christmas at least 25 times. It definitely got me in the Christmas spirit, so I was ok with it!
For all the Grinch watching we did.. you would think he would have been excited to meet Mr. Grinch. Negative. He was SO freaked out!!! He kept telling me, "mom, go home."
Mr. Grinch brought all of us Christmas jammies, and we watchted the old version of the Grinch at our party, and then have yummy desserts! We also have a "Who Feast", but I forgot to take a photo :) My favorite was the Roast Beast!
There is nothing better than celebrating holidays with kids. They make it so magical, and fun. Can't wait till next year!
